skies, Dan just wants to know if the jam on Shakedown makes the tip of your nose tingle, so to speak.

I think, like most people here, the music is a more important topic than a silly word or name, ya know?

I’ll concede that you appear to be trying to moderate your obnoxious behavior, and even actually mentioned a song recently. Since it seems you like it here so much I would encourage you to keep trying. Blessed are the peacemakers.

Vapors :talk about being obnoxious ! As a lesson giver you don't interest me ,and no I donot like it here that much these days ,with this old boys 's club .You tell me about peacemakers,to me who is against wars ,but you wouldn' dare tell the same to warmongerers, including those here !So take a hike on a moonbeam ,vapors !

You actually think vaps is afraid to tell one of us old farts to take a hike? Search on his names and you'll find examples of his forthright posts with respect to misbehavior by any and all sorts...did you think he was offering a backhanded compliment? seemed sincere to me.

For the record I was being sincere. There is too much bullshit already in this world.

I suppose the historical humor helps keep the situation from being a total loss.

Of course; sincerity is our motto around here...delusional, perhaps, but always sincere except when we are being asked something akin to "does this cow outfit make Dire look fat?"

Yeah, but recall that's what they told me when I came back from Munich in 38 with that scrap of paper and my comments about "peace in our time" and such...but leaving the historical humor aside, I think you have a good point!

I bet you guys were boogieing down HARD. Can't think of a better way to bring the energy of a show way up than a Shakedown opener!

I'm bookmarking this for later. The set list is to die for!

Can you tell some more stories from the good old days, Dan?

DP - Sorry to take so long responding. Initiated this post early this morning before heading in to a 14 hour day at work – need that OT ! Great energy indeed at this show.

Like most who struck out on the adventure that was the Grateful Dead I have lots of stories – great times sure, and many hard ones too. Glad you ask, yes I will share more as they come up (TDIH). Of course my good old days are more recent than some here and I like hearing those stories too. Don’t tell me this town ain’t got no heart!
